Since I'm going to be on a Navy SHIP (not boat, I am informed) I decided to start off professional, because the Navy is. Here is a quick little guide to whats going on- FAQS:
Q: Kayla, what the heck are you actually doing?
A: Good question, I'll be living on a Navy ship called the USNS Mercy. I'll be helping with a humanitarian collaboration between the Navy, the LDS church, Project Smile, and other charities/orgs.
Q: Where are you going?
A: Happy to tell you, I'll be traveling to Hawaii, Vietnam, Indonesia, Cambodia, Guam, Singapore, and Timor Leste. (Never heard about the last place until april)
Q: So what are YOU going to be doing?
A: that is the secret to be discovered. I guess thats where this blog comes in and i'll share it as I find out!

ReplyDeleteOh one more thing! Hope you are brushing up on your Portuguese speaking skills you learned in Brazil because that is what they speak in Timor-Leste. It was colonized by the Portuguese in the 16th century and is the 1st new country of the 21st century!
